OUR FOUNDERS
Phoenix & Fire was born from a shared desire to make healing and ritual accessible— not reserved for private sessions or special occasions, but woven into daily life. Founders Ilana Sparrow and Kate Nelson have been close friends for nearly three decades. They met in business school, bonded by a shared drive to make the world better— and by their love of animals, intuitive exploration, historical fiction, and wellness.
Together, they joined forces to bring Phoenix & Fire into the world — combining deep energetic craftsmanship with intentional design and accessibility. At its heart, Phoenix & Fire is built on a simple belief: when people feel calmer, more balanced, more confident, and more connected to themselves, they create a kinder world — a world rooted in unity not separation — for ourselves, and for the generations to come.
ILANA
Ilana is a multi-modality energy healer and intuitive, and the founder of ALIGHTWITHIN WELLNESS. Through her work, she supports both people and animals in healing emotional, physical, and energetic imbalances. She leads workshops, retreats, classes, and Reiki trainings both online and in-person, and works with clients from around the world. The original Phoenix & Fire elixirs were created for her private clients as tools to anchor and extend the work beyond the session room.
KATE
Kate is the owner of Greenwood Shop, a favorite Los Angeles based shopping destination for celebrities and taste-makers alike, where she sells a curated mix of items that includes wellness essentials. With an eye for beauty and an instinct for what resonates, she immediately recognized the power of these blends and their potential to reach a wider audience.
